Database and Analysis Manager

Location: HQ, G2 5AD / Hybrid

Salary: circa £40,000 dependent on experience

This role sits within the Customer business, reporting to the Senior Database and Analysis Manager.

The primary purpose of the Database and Analysis Manager is to focus on using SQL or equivalent skills to gather and analyze customer data/information and undertake market analysis and data mining to present meaningful intelligence to the marketing and sales departments to inform strategy.

The Database and Analysis Manager is also required to undertake end-to-end database marketing commissions (i.e. preparation of Data to feed multi-channel campaigns and where possible establish automated processes to ensure always-on campaigning), feeding learnings back into future commissions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and producing actionable insights from SAP, industry, and external data sources using various statistical, analytical, and machine learning techniques.
  • Designing and delivering domestic and commercial value models.
  • Developing a cross-domain knowledge base, working across information silos, using analytical insight to make efficiencies throughout the entire value chain.
  • Management and end-to-end delivery of database marketing campaigns.
  • Providing analytical support to the Customer Business Management Team.

Requirements

  • Ability to use various software solutions to carry out data analysis and create reports including but not limited to Oracle SQL, Snowflake, and Excel.
  • Proven relationship management skills.
  • Good verbal skills.
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management ability.
  • Highly numerate and analytical.
  • Able to understand financial models and manage complex spreadsheets.
  • Commercially strong focus on margin optimization.
  • Strong understanding of the Customer Business operations.
  • Degree in Maths/Marketing or related sciences.
