About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Engineer to join our team at The Retention Group. As a Field Based Forklift Engineer, you will be responsible for repairing, servicing, and maintaining a wide selection of forklift trucks in a local patch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on forklift trucks
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues with forklifts
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to clients
  • Work independently in a field-based environment

Requirements

  • Experience working on engines, even if it's in your spare time as a hobby or on smaller engines such as generators, lawnmowers, go-karts etc.
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm
  • Desire to pursue a career as a forklift engineer
