Senior Editor Opportunity at The Lancet Regional Health - Europe

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Editor to join our team at The Lancet Regional Health - Europe. As a Senior Editor, you will play a critical role in shaping the journal's content and ensuring its high quality.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Contribute to the selection of journal content, including research articles, editorials, and reviews.
  2. Write editorials, organize peer review, and conduct webinars and podcasts with authors and key opinion leaders.
  3. Commission content to build the journal's profile and handle special project content.
  4. Develop and maintain links with the regional health community to solicit high-quality research and thought leadership.
  5. Attend conferences and events, identify suitable topics and authors, and stay up-to-date with current developments in regional health.

Requirements

  1. Relevant qualifications in clinical or biomedical science, public health, global health, or related fields.
  2. Experience working globally and ability to connect with colleagues at all levels.
  3. Ability to collaborate with teams to deliver successful projects and initiatives.
  4. Natural ability to engage, influence, and build relationships with stakeholders, teams, and the community.
