About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Breakfast Supervisor to join our dynamic team at the Radisson Blu Edinburgh Hotel. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our breakfast service, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the breakfast service, ensuring that all aspects of the operation run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Lead by example, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all guests receive a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness in the breakfast area, including the buffet, dining area, and kitchen.
  • Manage and control inventory, including food, beverages, and supplies, to ensure that we are always well-stocked and prepared for peak periods.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure that all breakfast dishes are prepared to the highest standards and presented in a visually appealing way.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase sales, and reduce waste.
  • Work closely with the hotel's management team to ensure that all aspects of the breakfast service are aligned with the hotel's overall goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, remaining calm and composed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
