About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Supervisory team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day housekeeping and linen service across a 7-day working week.
Main Responsibilities
You will be responsible for supervising a team of housekeepers, ensuring that the hospital is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This will involve managing the linen and uniform service, ensuring that adequate clean linen is provided to the wards and that uniforms are issued to staff in a timely manner.
You will also be responsible for carrying out regular cleaning audits, risk assessments, and completing and updating COSHH data. Additionally, you will be required to use a PC to update cleaning schedules and manage the cleaning service.
Requirements
- Proven track record in supervising staff in a cleaning environment
- Ability to communicate positively with members of the public, staff, and Estates and Facilities teams
- Flexibility in your daily approach to challenging situations
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
- Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate (desirable)
