About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our community team, providing high-quality care to patients in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied caseload, including post-operative rehabilitation, long-term condition management, and same-day equipment assessments.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, prioritizing patient needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including community nurses, social workers, and urgent community response teams.
  • Supervise and develop Band 5 Occupational Therapists, students, and support staff.
  • Utilize IT systems to coordinate service delivery and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Strong moving and handling skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a patient-centered approach.
  • Sound knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, with a driving license and access to a car.
