About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Knowledge Exchange Support and Bidding Officer to join our team at The University of Northampton. As a key member of the Knowledge Exchange team, you will play a crucial role in facilitating engagement with businesses and external organisations across all three academic faculties, institutes, and centres.
Key Responsibilities
• Work closely with our Knowledge Exchange leads and the wider KE team to develop and implement effective engagement strategies with businesses and external organisations.
• Provide support and guidance to academics and researchers in developing and submitting high-quality bids and proposals to secure funding and partnerships.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships that align with the university's strategic objectives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including businesses, external organisations, and government agencies.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A strong understanding of the knowledge exchange landscape and the ability to identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions to complex problems.
• A high level of organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
