About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Project Lead to join our team at Plowman Craven, a leading provider of measurement survey services to the property, rail, and infrastructure markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of high-quality Revit models that meet specifications and are delivered on time.
  • Liaise with Project Managers, Surveyors, and internal/external stakeholders to ensure the most effective modeling workflow, techniques, and software are utilized.
  • Validate and verify graphical and non-graphical model data to ensure consistency across project deliverables, adhering to company QA standards and protocols.
  • Ensure BIM projects meet client expectations and company standards in terms of quality, timeliness, and health & safety.
  • Develop a deeper understanding of the BIM process and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Support the business in outsourcing and supply chain management.
  • Provide technical advice and support to Project teams, including basic Revit guidance.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide competitive pricing and timescales.
  • Attend client and design team meetings with Project Managers.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Scan-to-BIM and architectural/engineering-related degree or qualification.
  • Advanced knowledge of Revit with 5 years of experience.
  • Experience working with the construction industry, with a proven track record of modeling from point cloud data for at least 2 years.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across teams, clients, and colleagues.
  • Good team management and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Loyal, self-motivated, and proactive.
  • Attention to detail and a willingness to take ownership of delivering high-quality outputs.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with collaboration tools like BIM360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
  • Knowledge of Dynamo and other BIM software, such as ArchiCAD, Tekla, and AECOSim.
  • Clash detection experience.
  • Passion for learning and developing a deeper understanding of the BIM process.
  • Project management experience.
