We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Visual Learning Designer to join our team at the Financial Ombudsman Service. As a key member of our Learning and Development team, you will play a crucial role in crafting visually appealing user interfaces and layouts, illustrations, animations, and infographics to enhance the learning experience and support our company's brand.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop visually appealing eLearning modules and supporting videos/animations, working closely with the Learning and Development team to uplift the visuals of our current eLearning and scope fresh visuals for new projects.
- Provide creative direction on our eLearning projects, collaborating with the Learning and Development team to ensure the visual design aligns with our company's brand and vision.
- Support and design the visuals for multiple digital learning projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Act under agile or scrum frameworks and work to the digital design process, staying up to date on the latest trends and innovations in digital learning and technology.
- Explore new ways to enhance the learning experience visually, including gamification and microlearning.
- Support the Learning and Development team in realizing stakeholder's vision for their eLearning, acting as a brand champion to ensure our materials are brand compliant.
- Design and implement visual assets for learning materials, including animated micro-joys, illustrations, icons, and infographics.
- Contribute to the storyboards for module content in relation to the visuals and create storyboards for video and animated content to guide the visual narrative.
- Provide coaching and/or mentoring for other members of the Digital Learning team in visual asset creation/design.
- Design and animation of 2D assets (photographic and illustrative) and 3D asset creation/animation.
- Experience coaching and supporting others with visual design on projects.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI Design.
- Adept multi-tasker with the ability to manage the creative process from design concept to delivery, balance priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience working in eLearning.
