About the Role

We are seeking an Apprentice Construction Plant Engineer to join our team and develop skills in heavy plant engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a close-knit team in a workshop environment, gaining hands-on practical experience with supervision.
  • Develop an understanding of major repair work, components used, and the importance of team working and communication skills.
  • Gain experience in planning and scheduling repair jobs, working with major components, and internal inspections of disassembled components.
  • Assist with installations of MDiG equipment and develop an understanding of back-office support and duties involved.

Requirements

  • Interest in heavy machinery and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as a team player.
  • Desire to develop a career within the industry.
  • GCSE grade 4 (C) or above in Mathematics, English, and Science.
