Futures is currently supporting a leading manufacturing business in West Yorkshire, seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled engineer to take responsibility for proactive and reactive maintenance duties in a fast-paced production environment.
The successful candidate will report to the Engineering Manager and be responsible for achieving budgeted machine performance targets and ensuring the machines are running at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily plant inspections to monitor plant performance.
- Respond to plant stoppages and implement modifications to new and existing equipment.
- Carry out fault finding diagnosis and repairs on equipment and plant.
- Previous experience in a FMCG manufacturing environment.
- Time-served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline, holding a Mechanical Engineering qualification or higher.
- Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
