Reliable Electrical Mechanical Specialist

As a Reliability Engineer in our Ferrybridge, West Yorkshire site, you will deliver a safe, proactive, and professional electrical and mechanical service to all departments, ensuring efficient and reliable production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) processes to cover all equipment across the site, including leading in defining and standardizing Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and Standard Maintenance Procedures (SMP).
- Participate in proactive equipment reliability plans to reduce failures and minimize their effects.
- Lead in Root Cause Analysis methodologies such as 8D, 7-Step Chronic Problem Solving, EWOs, 5why, and 5G.
- Support cost-effective project participation and contribute to the improvement of production-related assets.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting, including shift reports and updating departmental 'InfoHub' boards.
- Effectively communicate with team members using various platforms, such as Microsoft Teams.
- Maintain a dual role system, ensuring first-line response to plant breakdowns is maintained to a world-class standard.
Requirements:
- Hold a NVQ Level 3 in an engineering discipline or have experience in a reliability and maintenance time-served apprenticeship.
- Have electrical and mechanical work experience.
- Have PLC knowledge, preferably Siemens S7.
- Have a high-level understanding of mechanical systems.
- Be experienced in Planned Preventative Maintenance and proactive applications.
- Hold Portable Appliance Testing skills, advantageous.
- Be able to diagnose root causes.
- Aware of identifying solutions and taking action.
- Have a strong work ethic and high commitment to health and safety.
- Be able to prioritize, analyze problems quickly, and maintain positive working relationships.
