Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Management Accountant to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to our Senior Management Team and budget managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts, identifying and investigating variances against budget.
  • Support the Senior Management Team and budget managers in management accounting tasks, including business case development and cost savings identification.
  • Prepare budgets and quarterly re-forecasts for the University and Senior Management Team areas.
  • Set up approved projects on the finance system and provide financial monitoring information to project managers.
  • Act as a strategic finance Business Partner to Senior Management Team members and budget managers.
  • Lead the understanding and interpretation of key funding streams and project activities.
  • Assist in the production of year-end financial statements in accordance with relevant standards.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Experience supporting non-finance staff with annual budgets.
