Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at The London Clinic. As a key member of our Pharmacy Team, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and patient-centered clinical pharmacy service to patients at our adult cancer services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a comprehensive and effective patient-centered clinical pharmacy service to designated Oncology/Haematology wards.
  • Lead on and develop elements of the clinical pharmacy service to improve the patient experience.
  • Provide release of chemotherapy products according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  • Facilitate and promote rational and optimal medicines usage.
  • Provide assimilated and relevant medicines information to healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours pharmacy service as per agreed roster.
Requirements
  • You must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (UK) as a Pharmacist with a postgraduate clinical pharmacy qualification.
  • Post-registration experience in a UK hospital pharmacy.
  • Clinical Oncology experience and aseptic services.
  • You will need to be patient-focused, proactive, and dynamic to operate effectively as the first point of contact for Pharmacy services.
  • The role demands an organized, flexible individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You must be able to work independently and have good judgment to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
