**Job Description**
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Architect to join our team at Checkout. As a Security Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and operating our services securely.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design secure patterns and control requirements to reduce risks through opinionated architecture.
- Develop policy as code, templates, and modules to implement and enforce secure patterns and guidance.
- Develop expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security principles, control frameworks (NIST), threat modeling, and security risks as they apply to cloud solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of our services.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor, Master of Science, or PhD in Computer Science, Cyber-Security, or Information Security.
- Strong understanding of security principles and cloud security risks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
