About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Solutions Architect to join our team at State Street. As a key member of our Global Cybersecurity team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing secure architecture solutions to protect our digital assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and threat modeling to identify potential security gaps and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Perform application architecture security reviews and document risk assessment findings and proposed remediation.
  • Help shift security left by implementing security testing and ensuring security considerations are embedded in early architecture designs.
  • Design and document reusable security reference architecture patterns.
  • Develop technical security standards and align them across the organization.
  • Collaborate with IAM architects, Cloud Architects, Solution Architects, Security teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Help harden security controls on cloud landing zones and cloud services.
  • Participate in regular security audits and compliance activities.
  • Review vendor product security and ensure a shared responsibility model is in place.
  • Guide teams through security-related governance processes.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of IAM technologies, ITDR, UEBA, and behavior analytics platforms.
  • Hands-on experience working with AD in on-premises and hybrid environments, including Azure AD.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of diagnostic and support tools used in a support environment.
  • Virtual leadership experience with the ability to drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage relationships with leaders and team members.
  • Knowledge and understanding of data organization and structuring complex data across varied data sources.
  • Experience in security engineering, with a focus on hybrid and multi-cloud solutions.
  • Knowledge of scripting, automation, and security analytics tools.
  • Hands-on experience designing and securing cloud-based solutions and cloud services.
  • Certifications like Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or AWS Certified Security - Specialty can be beneficial.
  • Experience in designing and documenting application solution architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Multi-year experience in Cybersecurity, including SecOps, penetration testing, security analytics, threat hunting, and/or security architecture.
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related technical discipline, with experience.
  • Experience with security observability and identity threat monitoring in hybrid cloud environments.
  • Proven ability to drive transformational security projects cross-organization.
  • Knowledge of security testing and penetration testing tools and techniques, and security analytics tools and platforms.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in security analytics, security research, offensive security, or advanced threat prevention teams.
