Job Title: Mechanical Technician

Asset Appointments is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to join our client's engineering/manufacturing business. This role represents an excellent career opportunity for a mechanically biased technician/fitter.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance, repair, and installation of bespoke manufactured mechanical systems to tight tolerances.
  • Construction and testing of products in strict accordance with all requirements.
  • Active engagement in the audit process to ensure consistent readiness for audits.
  • Overseeing completion of spares needing pre-assembly and testing, and facilitating progression to the appropriate Technician.
  • Accurate recording of testing data and following necessary recording procedures.
  • Comprehensive checks on all available parts, addressing and resolving any shortages, and raising issues with prompt communication within the business.
  • Prompt updates to the Senior Technician and Operations Leads.
Requirements:
  • Practical experience in mechanical systems maintenance, repair, and installation.
  • Strong understanding of industry-specific requirements and performance standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work to meticulously high standards and ensure reliable and safe system performance.
