Electrical Technician Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team at HSB Technical Ltd. As a specialist recruiter within the Power & Propulsion, Shipbuilding, Shipping & Energy, and Aerospace sectors, we have a number of permanent and contract vacancies for multiple businesses across the UK and overseas.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This will involve working on a variety of projects, from routine maintenance to complex installations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
  • Conduct routine inspections and tests to ensure electrical systems are functioning safely and efficiently
  • Identify and report any electrical faults or defects
  • Work with colleagues to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard
Requirements:

  • Relevant electrical qualifications and experience
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and overtime
