About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our bank team at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of clinical pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional and clinical input as a member of a team of pharmacy staff involved in the delivery of clinical pharmacy services.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of medicines use by inputting to clinical governance and risk reduction activities.
  • Participate in clinical audit and practice development activities.
  • Assume statutory professional responsibility while working in the dispensary.
  • Role model compassionate and inclusive leadership to shape the creation of a collective leadership culture within the trust.
Requirements
  • Vocational masters degree in pharmacy (or equivalent).
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Demonstration of competence at pre-registration level.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development to at least meet the mandatory requirements of the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • IT skills to at least ECDL standard or equivalent experience.
