About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Priory Medical Group. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and providing expert medication advice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with patients on medication-related queries and provide expert advice on a wide range of clinical areas.
  • Work closely with our pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other healthcare professionals to oversee medication changes for newly diagnosed patients and manage patient registers.
  • Provide medicines information for our weekly multidisciplinary team meetings and liaise with various professionals to achieve the best outcomes for patients.
  • Contribute to the training and development of trainee pharmacists and student technicians.
  • Participate in research and quality improvement projects to enhance our service and improve patient care.
About Us

Priory Medical Group is a friendly, well-organized, and social surgery with a growing patient list. We operate from three sites and are a teaching practice with GP registrars, F2 doctors, physician associates, pharmacy, and medical students on placement.

Our clinical team comprises 7 GP partners, 6 salaried GPs, 3 practice nurses, 3 HCAs, a physician associate, 3 pharmacists, and 3 pharmacy technicians. We work closely with the North Shields PCN pharmacy team to provide medication reviews for our patients.
