Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Data Controller to join our team at Kaizen Lab Inc. This is a key role that will be responsible for managing the accounting, forecasting, budgeting, and corporate insurance functions in accordance with our company policies, procedures, and requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide analysis and recommendations to enhance operations and results to the senior management team.
  • Manage all accounting activities to ensure that financial processes and information are accurate, timely, and contain adequate internal controls.
  • Create and collaborate on training for financial processes across all departments.
  • Coordinate and manage the preparation of the budget, including performing financial analysis and miscellaneous requests for information.
  • Review reports to analyze projections of sales and profit against actual figures, review budgeted expenses against actual totals, and suggest methods of improving the budget planning process as appropriate.
  • Monitor dealership financial metrics.
  • Develop, manage, and prepare internal and external financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, KPI scorecards, reports to stakeholders, tax returns, and reports for governmental regulatory agencies.
  • Manage recruitment and employee development activities for the Accounting Department.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in financial management or accounting.
  • Understanding of financial concepts such as budgets, Return on Investment (ROI), Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), and Net Operating Return on Assets (NORA).
  • Knowledge of financial principles required for budgeting and strategic planning.
  • Understanding of financial statements, cash flow, and key financial ratios.
  • Understanding of the integrated systems of internal control and the relationship to disclosure and financial reporting.
  • Bachelor Degree in an Accounting/Finance/Business discipline or equivalent experience required.
