Job Description

Gordon Murray Group is a UK-based global luxury brand dedicated to creating and manufacturing the world's greatest driving cars. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Harness Engineer to join our specialized team in building electrical wiring harnesses to our exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the workshop manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the harness workshop.
  • Assist with complex, first-time builds and prototypes, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Pick and select stock parts required for assembly, maintaining accurate records.
  • Raise any build-related issues, deviations, or continuous improvement opportunities with your line manager.
  • Provide guidance and advice to trainee technicians, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping, including work area, documentation, tools, and products.
  • Conduct regular line inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Perform any additional duties as required by the company to deliver a quality product and service to customers on time.
  • Adhere to all procedures and processes to meet day-to-day business requirements, quality, and health and safety standards.
  • Achieve effective continuity of agreed deadlines through flexible working patterns.
Requirements
  • Previous extensive experience across multiple OEM and system 25 harnesses (motorsport/aerospace).
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Experience with Cirris or another electrical harness testing software.
