About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carbon Advisory Consultant to join our team at Wood. As a key member of our Carbon Advisory Team, you will play a critical role in helping our clients unlock the solutions they need to address their complex technical challenges and achieve their decarbonisation goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice to clients on decarbonisation strategies and opportunities
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of clients' carbon footprints and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement decarbonisation plans and roadmaps for clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions to clients
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and developments in decarbonisation and sustainability
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Process / Chemical Engineering, Engineering Science, or a technical environmental/ sustainable development related subject
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to break down complex problems into manageable parts
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Good organisational and project management skills
  • Keen to learn and share knowledge with others
Desirable Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multi-discipline teams
  • Demonstrated proficiency in international best practices in energy and carbon efficiency
  • Thorough understanding of international policy and economic frameworks driving climate change agendas
  • Demonstrable background in decarbonisation studies and/or life cycle assessments
  • Experience in assisting clients to map energy and fuel usage and associated carbon equivalent emissions
  • Experience in assisting clients to identify and screen emissions reduction opportunities
  • Chartered to an internationally recognised Professional body (or working towards)
  • Good negotiation skills
