Job Title: Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team at Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. in Kidlington, near Oxford.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the manufacture and testing of finished products, maintaining and preparing records, reports, and documentation, and recommending and facilitating basic changes to interdepartmental written procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manufacture and QC test Raw Materials and FG following standard manufacturing procedures and following a defined schedule
  • Maintain accurate inventory of finished products
  • Perform assigned tasks in 2 or more areas with process ownership in one area
  • Guidance of new employees in area procedures
  • Clean and maintain work areas and equipment
Requirements:
  • Minimum A level
  • 1-2 years related experience in similar function or industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to perform basic preventive maintenance on some equipment
  • Basic communication skills
  • Attention to details and ability to follow instructions-written and verbal
  • Microsoft Office knowledge and ERP software
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and write reports
