Position Overview:
As a Specialist School Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the educational experience of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within a secondary school environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Support Classroom Activities:
- Collaborate with educators to implement tailored learning strategies and modify resources to cater to the unique requirements of students with SEN.
- Provide dedicated assistance to students facing specific learning challenges, enabling them to overcome obstacles and reach their academic and personal goals.

2. Collaboration:
- Engage with teachers, families, and external specialists to devise and execute effective support strategies for students with SEN.
- Monitor and document student progress, behaviors, and accomplishments, ensuring regular communication with the educational team and families.

3. Utilization of Assistive Technology:
- Acquaint yourself with and employ assistive technologies and resources to enrich the learning journey for students with SEN.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly advantageous.
- Relevant certifications or training in Special Education or a related discipline.
- A compassionate, patient demeanor and a sincere commitment to fostering the educational growth of children with SEN.
