Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Mechanical Field Service Technician to join our team at WaterForce Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our irrigation and pumping systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Servicing and maintenance of centre pivot and lateral irrigators
  2. On-site technical problem solving and troubleshooting
  3. Identification and completion of maintenance works on irrigators
  4. General service work and assisting other staff members
  5. Irrigation system commissioning and testing
  6. Availability for call-outs, including weekend work

Requirements:

  1. Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  2. Honest and hardworking with a strong work ethic
  3. Well-organized, practical, and methodical with excellent problem-solving skills
  4. Able to work unsupervised and as part of a team
  5. Ability to work extra hours when necessary
  6. Experience and understanding of electrical control circuits (analogue and digital)
  7. Good mechanical aptitude and knowledge of irrigation and pump installations/operation
  8. Clean New Zealand driver's license
