About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Branch Assistant to join our team at SBS – SBD. As a Branch Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards within the trade counter area and warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized trade counter area and warehouse.
  • Be a team player with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Support health and safety compliance and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Be competent in multi-drop deliveries and able to work independently.
  • Contribute to achieving branch performance targets and provide cover when required.

Requirements:

  • A friendly and welcoming attitude with energy and passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Be versatile and able to assist in all aspects of running the branch.
  • A full valid driving license is essential, and a forklift truck license would be advantageous but not required.
  • Previous experience in a driving role would be beneficial, but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Good organizational skills and IT literacy are essential.
  • Experience in a trade counter environment would be preferred but not essential as the right attitude and drive will overcome any lack of this experience.
