Job Description

Head of Technology and Digital Architecture

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to take on the role of Head of Technology and Digital Architecture at Bestman Solutions. This is a key leadership position where you will oversee the delivery, maintenance, and continual improvement of IT strategy, services, and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of IT services, with a strong emphasis on secure and efficient operations of the Azure cloud environment, infrastructure, end-user devices, and applications.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the operational aspects of the technology strategy and roadmap, with Azure as a core component, ensuring alignment with broader enterprise plans.
  • Oversee technology change projects throughout the full lifecycle, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Identify and implement mitigations for IT-related risks, including business continuity and disaster recovery, with a focus on Azure-based solutions.
  • Mentor and manage a small IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continual improvement.
  • Develop and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to IT service delivery and operations, particularly within the Azure environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading IT teams and managing large projects within complex, federated environments.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, including cloud architecture, deployment, and management of Azure-based solutions.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing IT services and solutions within global organizations.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT service management, network architecture, and cloud computing.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft technologies, including SharePoint, Dynamics, Azure Cloud, and Power Platform.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
  • Budget management experience and a strong financial acumen.
  • A collaborative leadership style with a focus on mentorship, training, and team development.
