Job Description

Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Murphy. As a senior lead, you will play a key role in championing world-class quality and driving the effective deployment of our Quality Management System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement a quality strategy for the Framework, aligned to our Murphy Integrated Management System
  • Proactively drive the effective deployment of the Quality Management System, including integration of best practice and innovative approaches for continual improvement
  • Support the achievement of 'Fit to Finish' (handover/completion) working collaboratively with others to enable effective close out of projects
  • Conduct regular inspections of sites and workplaces to determine whether work is being carried out in accordance with Company Policy, Procedures, and other stated requirements
  • Establish and deploy mechanisms to track/monitor/report quality management performance and identify improvement focus areas
  • Champion quality improvement activities, such as application of quality improvement tools, facilitating workshops, and investigation of quality incidents
  • Champion and support activities, including training/coaching/mentoring, to instil the knowledge, skills, and mindsets to positively influence behaviours and embed a world-class quality culture

Requirements:

  • Proven experience within a Quality managerial role
  • Experience within the water industry would be beneficial
  • Relevant Quality Membership (MCQI) is desirable
  • Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, MS Project
  • Full UK Driving Licence
