Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary:

United Living Group is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our quality management system, ensuring compliance with building regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain an ISO accredited quality management system
  • Ensure compliance with building control, building warranty providers, mortgage lenders, and building safety regulator
  • Manage quality KPIs and monitor trends to advise on common issues
  • Audit implementation of the electronic QA system and provide monthly reports to operations and board directors
  • Work with site teams to develop Project Quality Plans and Package Inspection and test plans
  • Promote a right-first-time culture on site to prevent delays, re-work, and re-visits
  • Maintain own CPD with knowledge and awareness of current material and construction legislation and research
  • Deliver CPD sessions and Quality Toolbox talks to site teams

Requirements:

  • Experience in high-rise/commercial construction and housebuilding
  • Significant work experience in site management or similar QA role
  • Knowledge of low-rise traditional housing and high-rise projects
  • Use of Aconex Field or similar electronic Quality Management software
  • Experience overseeing quality within a Construction Mortgage Lending (CML) environment

Qualifications and Training:

  • Construction-related degree or diploma
  • Professional membership of MCIOB/MCABE/MICWCI
  • Relevant Construction Skills Certificate Card
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Valid UK driving license
