Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Senior DevOps Engineers with a robust background in Software Development to join a dynamic team focused on establishing a new engineering capability. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering Cloud Automation solutions across all major Public Cloud platforms, catering to a diverse array of significant Public Sector clients.

Given the nature of our operations, candidates must possess or be eligible to obtain UK National Security Vetting. This typically necessitates having resided in the UK for a minimum of five years and being a UK national or dual national. Please be aware that applications will not progress if these criteria are not met.

To excel in this position, you should have a solid foundation in Software Development and demonstrate proficiency in coding and scripting. Additionally, you will be expected to mentor junior engineers and ensure the quality of their work. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

  • Building infrastructure with a DevOps approach across major public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Developing secure, scalable cloud solutions for distributed systems
  • Utilizing containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Effectively managing key stakeholders and clients with strong communication skills
  • Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform
  • Working with CI/CD tools such as Github Actions and CircleCI
  • Establishing infrastructure testing within deployment pipelines
  • Understanding database systems and models
  • Contributing to and utilizing open-source technologies
  • Knowledge of test automation practices
