Shop Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Shop Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Greggs. As a Shop Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our shop equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance work on equipment in our shops.
  • Ensure all on-site mechanical and electrical equipment is working effectively and efficiently.
  • Perform regular maintenance work, day-to-day repair of shop equipment, electrical repairs, and modifications.
  • Minimise machine downtime while repairs are carried out for a group of approximately 80 shops.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in installations, electrical repair, fault finding, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvements.
  • A Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
  • Knowledge of Food Safety & SHE.
  • Flexibility in working hours (as may be required to work different shifts each week or asked to work overtime).
  • IT skills including Microsoft 365; SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
