**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Development Manager to join our team at Go Traffic Management. As a key member of our commercial operations team, you will play a vital role in supporting the management of our regional costs, sales data, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor regional costs, including weekly profit and loss (P&L) reporting.
- Review contract documents and advise on any issues.
- Prepare subcontract documents, enquiries, and assessments of quotations.
- Place subcontract orders, review subcontractor applications, agree and certify subcontract valuations, invoices, subcontract payments, and final account agreements.
- Manage regional sales administration, track project changes, variations, and/or notices.
- Assess and value variations and compensation events.
- Prepare and submit interim valuations and payment applications to clients, along with the agreement of final accounts.
- Support where required with tenders and pricing.
- Assist Credit Control with cash recovery and forecasting.
- Support the operational team in daily commercial and contractual aspects.
- Generate and complete reports as necessary.
Requirements:
- Good IT skills, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Good education level - Degree qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Ideally, you will have experience working in the commercial environment with exposure to invoicing and transactional processing as well as cost management.
- Basic understanding of contracts.
- Ability to prioritize workload, multi-task, and work under tight time pressures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Logical mind.
