As a key member of our Technical Communities, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning activities for our Nuclear New Build project at Sizewell C.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Define the work scope to be delivered within the contract or package of work and maintain effective communications with all stakeholders.
  • Resource Management: Assist in securing the required resources to meet project requirements, ensuring the maintenance of SQEP for any assigned resource and promptly identifying any personnel shortfalls or issues within the project team.
  • Project Controls: Develop, manage, and update project and programme plans, including full costing, development of WBSs, resource management, cost management of risk, and critical path review, using appropriate software and tools.
  • Change Control: Manage the change control process as the project/programme scope changes, using the correct processes and updating the necessary configuration documentation.
  • Project Baseline Control: Understand the need for project baseline control and different types of baseline change.
  • Earned Value Management: Apply the principles of Earned Value Management (EVM).
Requirements
  • Project Management Tools and Techniques: Knowledge of project management tools and techniques, including planning software, cost software, and risk software.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and English language skills, both written and verbal.
  • Security Clearance: Role holders will be required to undergo a Basic Security clearance (BPSS) and must have Independent Right to Work in the UK.
