Job Description:
Owen Daniels is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing individual projects from development to production, ensuring adherence to the Project Management process map.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating with department managers to allocate necessary resources, including design, CAD, prototypes, and factory labour in accordance with project requirements.
- Producing cost estimates using the NAV costing system, maintain or improve project profit margins, and escalate issues to the Head of Projects.
- Selecting and managing subcontract suppliers, place purchase orders after reviewing inventory, and monitor the progress of orders in collaboration with goods inwards.
- Compiling and handing over Health & Safety documentation, ensure compliance with Quality Assurance procedures, and participate in stock takes as needed.
Requirements:
- You have previous experience in a similar role.
- You possess a technical background and knowledge of varying manufacturing methods.
- You are able to work to strict deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- You hold a relevant project management qualification (desirable, not essential).
