About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver Technician to join our team at Sunbelt Rentals. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting safety and communication equipment to customers, while also providing technical support and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and collect equipment to customers, ensuring timely and efficient service
  • Conduct regular vehicle safety checks and maintain a safe and professional driving record
  • Issue safety and communication equipment to customers, providing technical support and training as needed
  • Diagnose and repair equipment issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum customer satisfaction
  • Adhere to and promote health and safety standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all
  • Maintain effective relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service
  • Perform pre-hire checks and functionality tests to support branch operations
  • Raise the Sunbelt Rentals profile and reputation through professional attitude and behavior
  • Ensure all reporting and administration is completed in line with company standards

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong background in transportation and technical support. You will have a clean driving record, a valid C1E license (or equivalent), and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also have a flexible approach to working hours, including early starts and late finishes.
