Job Title: Business Development Representative - Cloud Software
Job Summary:
Freshworks is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team in London. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for managing a large volume of daily outbound interactions with prospective Freshworks customers to raise interest levels, qualify, educate, and connect them with our sales teams to deliver regional revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Manage Lead Pipeline: Assess, prioritize, and move a large number of prospective clients simultaneously to drive revenue growth.
- Define and Execute Plans: Meet and exceed role-based goals by designing and executing campaigns in collaboration with senior managers on our marketing, sales, and operations teams.
- Engage with Stakeholders: Work closely with marketing, pre-sales, and sales executives to meet objectives and become an advocate for our brand.
- Provide Regular Reporting: Pipeline status and conduct forecasting exercises to ensure data-driven decision-making.
- Improve Processes: Continuously improve internal and external processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor or Master degree desirable.
- Experience: First experience in sales or business development, preferably in a similar role or equivalent practical experience in other high-velocity sales environments. Cloud software sales experience is a plus.
- Market Knowledge: Experience with the UK Market.
- Skills: Fast-learner driven to action, passionate about sales, customer service, and CRM tools. Enthusiastic about helping and serving clients, a high level of goal and customer orientation, self-motivation, charming with a friendly persistence, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong team player and collaborator.
- Language: Native level written and oral communication skills in English.
