We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join our team at Samuel Frank. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Planning and Management: Develop and implement project plans, including detailed governance structures, project schedules, and progress reports.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of Project Engineers, Design Engineers, and contractor employees to ensure successful project delivery.
- Engineering Requirements: Develop detailed engineering requirements and specifications for plant/process improvements, including risk assessments, management of change documentation, process safety considerations, and hazard/operability considerations (HAZOP).
- Team Management: Responsible for the day-to-day management of the drawing office team and the project support team.
- Project Management Skills: Demonstrate strong project management skills, ideally with PRINCE2 certification. We will provide training if required.
- Education and Experience: A degree qualification is strongly preferred, and experience in the planning and implementation of capital projects, as well as management and control of external contractor personnel, is desirable.
- Budget Management: Demonstrate excellent budget management skills to ensure successful project delivery.
- Health, Safety, and Environmental Management: Show excellent knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental Management & Legislation.
- Professional Development: The company will cover professional body subscriptions and encourage team members to gain Chartered status.
The salary range of £53-64k includes an uplift of a set amount of prepaid annual overtime hours. The working hours are 8.30am-4.45pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am-3.45pm on a Friday, with some flexibility. The company offers a generous package, including a quarterly bonus scheme, welfare support for staff, employee discount schemes, and recently amended salaries to help people adjust to increased personal costs.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a large plant in the Deeside area, with easy commute options from surrounding areas.
