Job Title: Electrical, Control & Instrument Technician

Job Overview:

EC&I Partners Limited is seeking a skilled Electrical, Control & Instrument Technician to join their team at Connah's Quay Power Station. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting ongoing EC&I work on site, working to deadlines, and communicating project progress.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Fault finding and defect rectification to electrical equipment.
  • Breakdown repairs to electrical equipment.
  • Providing instrumentation support.
  • Trouble shooting Control & Instrumentation issues.
  • Carrying out calibration and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems as per procedural documentation.
  • Carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance activities.
  • Instrumentation and control systems on industrial and or process equipment i.e. boilers, turbines, switchgear, starters, VFD's, pumps, fans, motors, drives, conveyors & control systems.
  • Ability to interface and liaise with internal customers and other subcontractors.
  • Assisting with technical input for proposals / tenders.

Requirements:

  • Clean Driving Licence
  • Time Served Relevant Apprenticeship with a Minimum of 5 Years' Experience
  • HNC/HND or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline
  • 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
  • Inspection & Testing 2391
  • CompEx Certified Ex 01-04 a distinct advantage
  • Computer Literate
