As a Regional Bank Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the running of our care teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a high standard of care and support to residents, leading by example and promoting a positive and respectful culture within the care team.
- Review and update care plans to ensure they meet the individual needs and wishes of our residents.
- Plan and review staff rotas to ensure adequate care support is available at all times.
- Promote high standards of care by ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and shifts run smoothly and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and pleasant environment for all residents and family members.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with visitors, family members, and other healthcare professionals.
- Promote the care home in a professional manner and raise awareness of our services within the local community.
Requirements
- A positive and person-centred approach to care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to drive and hold a full driving license.
- Minimum of NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care and experience working in a healthcare environment.
