Intercounty Truck & Van Ltd is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team at our Dunstable dealership. As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional customer experience, ensuring our customers receive the best possible service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner, building rapport and establishing trust.
- Check in vehicles, including entering customer and vehicle information on internal software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Create quotations for customers on repairs and works, ensuring transparency and customer satisfaction.
- Arrange vehicle pick-up dates, times, methods, and locations with customers, providing clear communication and updates.
- Monitor repair and works status, keeping customers informed and up-to-date on progress.
- Explain and hand over repair and work details to the workshop team, ensuring seamless communication.
- Perform visual inspections of vehicles before and after any works conducted, identifying potential issues and recommending solutions.
- Undertake general administrative duties to ensure the smooth flow of work within the Customer Service and Workshop teams.
Requirements:
- Experience in the automotive sector, preferably with a commercial vehicle focus.
- Experience in a customer contact and customer support position, with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
- General IT skills, including Microsoft Office Applications, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- A team player with a positive attitude, able to work collaboratively to achieve business objectives.
