About the Role

We are seeking a talented Lead Cloud FinOps Analyst to join our Group Technology Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering a set of ambitious technology plans and leading detailed data analysis of Cloud consumption across all venues and Cloud hosted technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily data analysis of Cloud consumption across all Cloud venues
  • Identify consumption trends and optimisation opportunities
  • Create customer reporting for internal stakeholders in support of the Cloud FinOps service
  • Collaborate with IT and Finance communities to influence cost saving initiatives
  • Work with the Procurement team to report on enterprise level commitments vs consumption and future consumption across agreements such as AWS PPA and Microsoft EA
  • Collaborate with the engineering teams on policies and guardrails to ensure business is empowered to achieve its objectives with appropriate governance in place to maintain enterprise standards
Requirements
  • A curious, data driven and analytical mindset
  • Some knowledge and experience with AWS and Azure technologies
  • Preferable to have experience of Cloud management tools such as Apptio Cloudability, AWS cost explorer, Azure Cost Management
  • Previous experience in technology and/or finance or data analytics
