We are seeking a highly skilled SaaS Technical Lead to join our Application Services function. This role will provide technical leadership, guidance, and expertise in the configuration, deployment, standardisation and management of SaaS based technologies and services.

The successful candidate will work closely with Group Technology, Architecture, Portfolio and Product Management teams to ensure Capability is aligned to current and future demand in terms of skillset and capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering strong technical leadership in advancing Group Functions SaaS capability and delivery.
  • Developing and leading a high performing team, nurturing individual growth.
  • Leading and ensuring the technical excellence of the SaaS Capability by staying updated with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Working with IT operations, data and analytics, architecture, and security teams to ensure that solutions are designed and delivered against the enterprise architecture, SaaS standards, security standards and successfully transition into production.
  • Leading, developing and evolving a SaaS Delivery Roadmap taking into consideration all work taking place within the capability.
  • Contributing to the IT delivery sourcing strategy that both complements and supplements the internal IT Solutions team.
  • Setting clear vision and goals for SaaS Capability.
  • Working with the Portfolio and Product Management team to plan and allocate resources effectively.
  • Ensuring a positive and collaborative working environment.

Requirements

  • Strong Application Management background with expertise in Cloud, Software Development, Web Technologies, Integration and data security.
  • Knowledge of Governance frameworks, policies, controls, security features and best practices related to SaaS Services.
  • Strong understanding of Patch and Upgrade Management for SaaS services.
  • Strong supplier management capability enabling maximum value from contractual arrangements.
  • Knowledge of different subscription approaches for SaaS based Application services.
  • Understanding of data management principles for storing, processing and reporting on data generated by SaaS application.
  • Understanding of monitoring and management services for tracking performance, availability and health of resources and applications.
  • Understanding of Application Portfolio Management to drive efficiency in total cost of ownership and complexity.
