Bid Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Bid Manager to lead the development of competitive proposals in warehousing and transport across various sectors. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with professionals to ensure proposals align with client specifications and company goals.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the response to public and private sector tenders, coordinating a virtual team that includes Operations, Project Management, Finance, and Commercial.
- Develop concise, persuasive, and customer-focused proposal documents, presentations, and other submission materials.
- Oversee bid production, ensuring all proposals meet client requirements and deadlines.
- Facilitate Value Proposition sessions to craft winning strategies and integrate them into submission documents.
- Manage key actions, outputs, and clarifications throughout the bid process, ensuring compliance and quality control.
- Lead tender review meetings, facilitating collaboration among team members to fine-tune proposals.
- Continually enhance bid processes and contribute to bid management initiatives across the organisation.
- Proven experience managing bids, particularly within the public and private sectors.
- Excellent writing skills, with the ability to craft persuasive, high-level proposals.
- Strong verbal and presentation skills to engage and persuade stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word.
- Experience in stakeholder management, working with cross-functional teams to deliver successful bids.
- The ability to juggle multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and work well under pressure.
- A passion for supply chain logistics, with experience or training in bid management being advantageous.
