This position is responsible for troubleshooting, calibrating, and adjusting plant floor devices to maintain optimal performance of equipment. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in S7 software, including Tia Portal, Proneta, and Simatic manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the direct contact person for the BaSE department during sorts.
- Lead a team of engineers to ensure efficient troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Take PLC backups and utilize PLC software to troubleshoot issues.
- Respond to internal customers and facility alarms in a timely manner.
- Perform preventative maintenance to prevent equipment downtime.
Requirements
- Proficiency in S7 software, including Tia Portal, Proneta, and Simatic manager.
- Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in engineering.
- Programming experience, including troubleshooting and basic understanding of networks, motor control theory, and operation.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and elementary diagrams.
