Lead with Compassion and Make a Lasting Impact

As the leader of our Solo Placement Children's Home, you will be responsible for ensuring the best possible outcomes for the child in your care. You will work closely with a team of six to create a safe, nurturing environment where the child can heal, grow, and thrive.

You will have a direct hand in shaping their future, guiding their emotional, psychological, and physical development through personalised care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster a culture of compassion, respect, and excellence within your team
  • Lead the home in full compliance with Ofsted and Children's Homes Regulations
  • Develop and oversee tailored care plans that address the unique needs of each child
  • Recruit, train, and support your staff
  • Maintain open communication with social workers, families, and other key professionals
Requirements
  • Prior experience as a Registered Manager or at least two years as a Deputy Manager in children's residential care
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent
  • Passionate advocate for improving children's lives
  • Proactive and driven individual
  • Full UK driving licence
  • DBS registration (desirable)
