About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Systems Security Engineering Lead to join our team at Leonardo. As a Senior Cyber Security Consultant, you will play a key role in helping our customers deliver and secure their solutions and products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Relate to our customers and their problems, actively listening and empathizing to build intimacy.

  • Understand and define potential solutions to problems with limited information based on your experience and technical knowledge.

  • Assess risks attracted by digital systems and information assets through risk assessments and governance structures.

  • Treat risks by defining appropriate security solutions across people, process, and technology.

  • Assure security is where it needs to be by defining, implementing, and performing assessments of customer environments.

  • Develop viable offerings as part of the business winning process and help in the technical development of products.

Requirements

  • Degree in an Engineering related discipline, with at least 3+ years of delivery experience.

  • At least 1 Recognised professional certifications in Cyber Security such as Sec+ CISM, CISSP, CRISC, CASP, CEH.

  • Experience of managing multiple stakeholders and their needs with empathy.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

  • Self-directed, willing to help and mentor junior cyber security consultants/engineers.

  • Conduct cyber risk assessment activities including threat modelling, vulnerability analysis, and analysis of mitigation solutions.

  • Develop, evaluate, and analyse design constraints, and detailed system and security design.

  • Experience in decomposing Cyber requirements down to the system control level.

  • Coordinate with other product engineers, system architects, and developers to provide oversight in the development of robust solutions.

  • Conduct cybersecurity test and evaluation of hardware and/or software designs.

  • Participate in Independent Technical Reviews (ITRs).

  • Experienced in MBSE.

  • Support business winning activities by providing inputs to technical responses.

  • UK SC Clearance or the ability obtain it as well as other more in depth security clearances.
