Job Opportunity: Strategic Land Manager

We are working with a leading privately owned strategic land promoter to appoint a strategic land manager for the south east region.

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-growing company and be a part of its future success. The successful candidate will be remunerated extremely well and can expect to share in the profit and future growth of the business with a sizeable six-figure package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the land acquisition strategy for the business
  • Build and maintain relationships with land owners and land agents in the south east region
  • Manage legal and contractual issues during the purchase of land
  • Appoint and manage external planning consultants
  • Liaise with existing tenants on current land assets
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified with 6 years + experience in land buying
  • Proven track record of acquiring high-profile sites in the south east region
  • Experience working at a leading strategic land promoter, house builder or development consultancy
  • Ambitious and money-motivated individual

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned land buyer with a detailed understanding of the planning system and the ability to manage and direct external consultants. They will have a portable book of contacts in the south east region and be comfortable working under their own direction to produce board and investor reports.
