Job Summary
We are seeking a Placement Civil Construction Engineer to join our team. As a placement student in civil engineering, you will engage in daily site activities and report to senior engineers. You will collaborate with industry experts to deepen your understanding of your project and work on exciting challenges that will help you build a successful career in this dynamic field.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake surveys and setting-out on site to ensure accurate measurements and quality control.
- Prepare drawings and calculations to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and procedures.
- Monitor construction progress to ensure deadlines are met and projects are delivered on time.
- Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and other parties involved in the construction project to ensure all work is completed according to specifications.
- Ensure that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.

Requirements
- Studying a Civil Engineering Degree.
- Hold a full UK driving license.
- High attention to detail coupled with meticulous planning and organisational skills.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in all aspects of engineering and looking for a dynamic workplace that provides an outstanding career opportunity.
