Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gas Training Specialist to join our team at British Gas. As a key member of our training department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical training to our engineers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for gas engineers, covering all aspects of technical training.
  • Manage and coordinate training sessions, ensuring timely and effective delivery of training content.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and update training materials, ensuring they are relevant and up-to-date.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to engineers, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of training policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with company objectives.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in technical training and development, preferably in the gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of gas engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineers and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and deliver training programs, using a range of training methods and techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address training needs.
